The surgery is carried out under local anesthesia. Necessary pre-examination is conducted on the day of surgery, in the clinic. The length of stay in the clinic depends on Patient's decision.
Even though there are no signs or symptoms of the recently undergone procedure, in the first four weeks after the surgery the patient is recommended to take care of himself or herself and to avoid extreme atmospheric conditions, drafts and excessive strain. Staying calm will aid quick healing. Sun exposure, using sun beds and sauna should be avoided.
In accordance with the plastic surgeon's recommendation, sutures and dressing are removed 7 days after treatment. This can be done in a local doctor's office indicated by the family doctor.
